What do you want your family to be?
For the last decade, ARA has facilitated kinship adoptions from Haiti and other developing Caribbean and African countries. If a client has lost a brother or sister to death, an immediate possibility for immigration to the US for their orphaned children is the kinship adoption by a US citizen relative. ARA has prepared home studies for Haitian clients, advised them about the visa process and made referrals to Haitian attorneys. Since the January 12, 2010 earthquake, ARA has also assisted our Haitian clients in applying for Humanitarian Parole for adoption cases in Haiti. We have enjoyed success in these endeavors.
